Dried-up well owners in Shelburne, N.S. now facing closure of shower option

Shelburne, N.S. – Less than two weeks remain for local residents whose wells have dried up to be able to access showers at the Islands Provincial Park. The service will be discontinued at the end of October as the risk of above-ground pipes freezing and bursting heightens. The park is one of Shelburne’s few options for allowing for showers during the province’s ongoing drought. CBC News report
