In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), at the end of April, President Félix Tshisekedi announced an audit of the mining sector to maximize government revenues. Today, the American NGO, the Carter Centre, announces support for this initiative. According to the organization, this audit is essential for a better management of mining revenues by the State, particularly in order to put in place a more efficient tax system.
