DRC: 17th Ebola Epidemic Far From Being Controlled, Warns African Center for Disease Control

The Ebola epidemic has been officially reported for four weeks in Ituri province, eastern DRC. According to the African Center for Disease Control and Prevention, this 17th epidemic is still not controlled in the country. According to its Managing Director, Jean Kaseya, the virus continues to spread. To date, there are 676 confirmed cases and 136 confirmed deaths.
