‘Draw a crowd’: 206th Annual Schaghticoke Fair opens

SCHAGHTICOKE, N.Y. — The 206th annual Schaghticoke Fair opened Wednesday. Despite the on-and-off rain, the cars backed up down the street, and guests dipped in and out of the many fair buildings and exhibits. Fair Manager Carly Reyna said it’s the third-largest fair in the state. The six-day affair features 35 new vendors this year, with many returning fair staples.
