More than 100 students at an elementary school in Seoul show suspected food poisoning symptoms

Health authorities have launched an epidemiological investigation after about 100 students and faculty members at an elementary school in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul showed symptoms of suspected food poisoning. According to the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and others on the 10th, students at the school had diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and fever since the evening of the 8th.

The sanitary services are conducting an investigation into the matter; the first test results are to be known at 3 p.m.

The sanitary inspection is conducting an urgent investigation, and the university has suspended classes and introduced extraordinary safety measures. There are currently about 1,000 people on the university premises.
