The US chemical company Dow plans to close two of its plants in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt at the end of 2027.
The fears in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt have come true: the US company Dow does not want to continue operating some of its plants, 550 employees are afraid of their jobs.
In Germany, Dow employs thousands of employees at 13 locations. Among other things, high costs make it possible for the US chemical company to create. Individual plants in Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt should therefore be closed down.
