Dorking murder investigation launched after man found dead in house

A murder investigation has launched in Dorking following the death of a man in his 60s.

Police were called to Lyons Court shortly before 11.40am yesterday by Surrey Fire and Rescue who had conducted a welfare check. A man in his 50s from Dorking was arrested last night on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.
