'So You Think You Can Dance' Finalist Donyelle Jones Has Died From Cancer

Her family announced on Instagram Tuesday that Donyelle Denise Wilson transitioned at 8:34am and was 46.
Wilson was diagnosed about a decade ago with Stage 3C breast cancer, which later progressed to Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer after a double mastectomy and chemotherapy, Dancers Against Cancer detailed.
In a video captioned `The Legacy Statement`, Wilson posted hospice footage, including a clip with tubes in her nostrils, and a Nov. 25 update said she was unable to eat.
Fans and colleagues immediately flooded her Instagram with tributes, with actress Yvette Nicole Brown writing `My dear friend has gone on to be with the Lord` and singer-songwriter Shanice, Alyson Stoner plus fans posting condolences.
Wilson first gained notice on So You Think You Can Dance Season 2 , finishing third behind Benji Schwimmer and Travis Wall, and her credits included dancing for Janet Jackson and appearing in Be Cool and Spirited .
