The German Journalists' Association (DJV) has urged shareholders in the television company ProSiebenSat.1 not to sell their shares to the Italian media company MFE-MediaForEurope, which is controlled by the descendants of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. If MFE were to gain a majority in the German company, it would risk pushing a right-wing populist agenda into broadcasting, the association said.
