On Wednesday 20 August, some 30 producers from the Lower Rhine went to a supermarket in Mundolsheim to remove products containing acetamipride. The action came to denounce the enactment of the Duplomb law without the reintroduction of the use of this pesticide.
Farmers from Bas-Rhin, members of the FNSEA, have taken action in a hypermarket near Strasbourg to denounce the inconsistency of pesticide legislation. While the Duplomb law has not allowed the re-authorisation of acetamipride in France, these producers denounce the presence in the radius of imported products which still contain cookies or chocolates, such as Nutella.
