Luke Donald Happy Not to Have to Worry About Jon Rahm's Eligibility for Ryder Cup

Last week, Jon Rahm reached a deal with the World Tour to retain membership, securing his eligibility for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor.
Previously, the 31-year-old Spaniard faced ineligibility due to a dispute over fines, which Rahm controversially described as "extortion."
Ahead of the 108th PGA Championship in Philadelphia, European captain Luke Donald expressed delight at the resolution, calling Rahm "obviously proved how valuable he can be in a Ryder Cup."
Regarding potential team divisions, Donald said "Even brothers fight sometimes" but emphasized the squad remains aligned on the mission to win the Ryder Cup.
With 18 months until the event, uncertainty surrounding LIV Golf impacts qualification criteria, though Donald noted "We don't really know what's going to happen with LIV.
