Domestic assault conviction upheld against Litchfield, Minnesota, man

ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Supreme Court upheld a 2022 misdemeanor domestic assault conviction against a Litchfield man. In an opinion filed Jan. 8, the Minnesota Supreme Court affirmed the conviction of 50-year-old Edgard Francisco Talave Latino, writing that both the Meeker County District Court and Minnesota Court of Appeals had made the correct findings with regard to state statute on domestic assault.
