Miami Dolphins Cornerback Kader Kohou Out for Season with Knee Injury
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, JUL 30 – Kader Kohou tore his ACL during training camp practice, ending his 2025 season and creating a major gap in the Dolphins' secondary, which already lost Jalen Ramsey.
- On July 30, 2025, Miami Dolphins cornerback Kader Kohou will go on injured reserve after a knee injury, coach Mike McDaniel said.
- At Miami Gardens, Kohou went down grabbing his right knee after a one-on-one rep against receiver Tyreek Hill, coach Mike McDaniel said.
- Kohou, who signed as an undrafted free agent in 2022, has recorded 180 tackles, one sack, and three interceptions over three years, including 45 tackles and two interceptions in 2024.
- The injury is a significant blow to Miami's secondary that has undergone significant changes since last season, with Kohou going on season-ending IR and all-star Jalen Ramsey and Jevon Holland gone.
- Ahead of their preseason opener, the Dolphins will continue training camp practices this week before facing the Chicago Bears on Aug. 10 in Chicago.
