BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- The Department of Marine Resources officials have reopened Deer Island trails. This comes following a fire that flared up on part of the island on Friday night. Crews were able to complete the assessments of the areas that closed trails and the interior portions of the island. MDMR also says the air is clear from all possible hazards at this time.
