DK Shivakumar seeks Defence Ministry nod, lower licence fee for 2 acres needed for Bengaluru tunnel road where Adani is lowest bidder
In a letter to Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar sought clearance for 2 acres of Defence land needed for the Bengaluru tunnel road project and reduction of the Rs 61-crore licence fee to 2 percent of the land cost.
DK Shivakumar met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi on Monday. He demanded the construction of a public park on 730 acres of defence land in Ibalur, slum redevelopment and immediate transfer of defence land. Apart from this, he also met Union Minister CR Patil.
Defense Land Request: D.K. Shivakumar submitted a request to Union Minister Rajnath Singh seeking land and permission from the Defense Department for major infrastructure projects in Bengaluru.
