The Nanterre Correctional Court, where the draftsman was tried on 27 May for "fixing the image or representation of a minor with a child pornography character", declared himself "incompetent".
Pursued "for fixation and transmission for the dissemination of images or representations of minors of a pornographic nature" for two albums released in 2018, Bastien Vivès did not have to explain. As the court of Nanterre declared "incompetent" territorially, the cartoonist's trial did not finally (almost) take place.
