WHEELING, W.Va. — Former Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston Bishop Michael Bransfield died Thursday. The Diocese released a statement: The Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston has received word that our former Bishop, Michael Bransfield, passed away peacefully today.
