Because of the inflation, the Austrians are looking at where they can still get cheap products – and are streaming into the discounters. The German low-cost chain Woolworth, which offers, among other things, T-shirts from 2.50 euros, socks from one euro, pans from six euros and coffee cups from 1.75 euros.
