Although many no longer believe that Norges Bank will cut the key interest rate at the interest rate meeting on Thursday, a large majority expect rising housing prices.

Economists are skeptical that Norges Bank will drop its interest rate cut this week. But Chief Economist Jan L. Andreassen expects a rate cut now, and three more before Christmas.
