With Trump's imperialist ambitions in mind, Europe is seeking to strengthen its digital sovereignty. However, if the Member States of the European Union recognise the continent's strong dependence on American technologies, they consider it "unrealistic", in the short term, the prospect of doing without the American giants of technology.
