OPay Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering
OPay said the sale includes a 30-day over-allotment option for 2.4 million more ADSs as it seeks to expand its digital financial platform.
On Friday, OPay Limited announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 16 million American Depositary Shares at $19 per ADS, with trading beginning today on the New York Stock Exchange under ticker symbol OPAY.
Launched in Nigeria in 2018, OPay serves over 50 million users across Nigeria, Egypt, Pakistan, and Indonesia by providing digital financial services to consumers and businesses outside traditional banking systems.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank, and The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited are acting as joint book-running managers, with Riley Securities, Inc. and Needham and Company, LLC serving as co-managers for the offering.
OPay granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,400,000 ADSs to cover over-allotments, with the offering structured under the Securities Act of 1933 registration requirements.
The offering is expected to close on November 2, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, while interested parties may obtain the final prospectus from the managing financial institutions.
