Diary of an MP: Hospitals, hot air balloons, and a heat wave

This week reminded me why I decided to leave industry and stand for Parliament in the first place. Back in the coalition years I was working with public sector clients and saw schools having to rip out their kitchens, libraries being closed, and hospitals unable to fix or maintain their buildings.
