The historic Greek service will continue from January 1st in a limited format, following a unanimous decision by the Radio and Television Council.
For financial reasons, the Deutsche Welle had to cancel its programme in Greek, it said in February. The outcry in Greece was great. Now the Radio Council decided: Greek remains.
