Detroit considering tougher penalties for youths who violate curfew
There’s a debate over a proposal to implement stiffer penalties for parents of kids who break curfew in Detroit. Right now, penalties include a $75 fine for a first offense and $100 for a second offense. The proposed amendment would increase those to $250 and $500, respectively.
