Department of Transportation predicts July 4th traffic

Travelers headed out of town for the July 4th holiday can expect light to heavy congestion on Georgia’s interstate highways, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced Thursday.  The DOT expects heavy traffic on I-75 through metro Atlanta, I-475 and I-75 in Central Georgia and I-16 and I-95 in Southeast Georgia.
