- On Tuesday, head coach Will Wade began his second tenure at LSU with a dominant 100-57 victory over LSU New Orleans at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

- Donovan Dent led the Tigers with 19 points and 10 assists, while Saliou Niang added 14 points and 14 rebounds as LSU shot 51% from the floor.
- Despite the decisive victory, eligibility questions persist for players like RJ Luis as the SEC and NCAA continue challenging Wade's unconventional roster management approach.
- LSU hosts Texas Southern on Friday, Nov. 6, while Wade solidifies his No. 1-ranked 2027 recruiting class and works to build a championship-caliber program.
