Lawmakers in Texas advocate for billions in funding Alzheimer's research

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - House Bill 5 and Senate Bill 5 is focused on establishing the Dementia Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (DPRIT). The bill is set to place $3 billion in research related to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and dementia, by 2026.
