The Delhi government has announced the Multi-Utility Duct (MUD) scheme. This will reduce the problem of frequent road digging in the city. This duct will pass the lines of electricity, water, gas and fire hydrants through the same underground route. This will keep roads strong and traffic problems will be reduced.
