DJB approves ₹17,970-crore sewer overhaul under ‘One Zone, One Operator’ model
Under the proposed system, Delhi will be divided into eight zones, with a single operator responsible for the entire sewer network in each zone, including sewer lines, manholes, pumping stations and complaint resolution, the government said.
Delhi Jal Board has approved sewer and water improvement projects worth more than Rs 17 thousand crore, under which 'One Zone-One Operator' model will be adopted and it will be given the responsibility of the entire sewer network.
