Defending champs BC High defeats Weymouth, sets up rematch against Xaverian in boys rugby state final

The Eagles earned the right to defend their state championship, and set up a highly anticipated rematch from a year ago in the process.

Five State Champs to be Decided

More state finals are on the slate for this weekend. Xaverian Brothers got by Belmont HS 38-17 to book their spot in the Massachusetts IAA D1 final. These two teams had met back in early April, a game that ended in a 17-17 tie. In the semifinal Luke Bell scored two tries while Christopher Dalton, William Benting, Joseph Karbelis, and Ben Kramer all touched down as well.
