Deer hunting in Trinity County brings big bucks to the state

Deer season is upon us, bringing camo-covered agritourist families to local restaurants, motels, campgrounds and gas stations. Revenue from resident hunters and visitors who come to western Northern California (B zones) for free range venison harvest adds nearly $1.5 million to the state wildlife management purse.
