Former world champion Uco Lastra died today at the age of 74. He suffered amputation of a leg and his health was not good in recent years. Born on August 12, 1951 in Santander, in the neighborhood of Cueto, he is to date the only world champion in the history of Cantabrian pugilism and the seventh champion of the world who had Spanish boxing, after Baltasar Sangchili, José Legrá, Pedro Carrasco, Perico Fernández, Miguel Velázquez and José Durán.…
