David-Andrei Anghel, the best student mathematician in the world, won first place at the National Olympiad, together with 5 colleagues

The best mathematician in the world, David-Andrei Anghel, from the International Computer Science High School in Bucharest, who last year won the gold medal with a maximum score at the International Olympics in Japan, took first place at the National Olympiad held in Târgu Mureş, sharing the first position with five other students from the country.

An exceptional performance was achieved at the National Mathematics Olympiad, held in Târgu Mureș, where David-Andrei Anghel, the best student-mathematician in the world, ranked first, along with five other students from the country.
