'Transparency is not just a checkbox.' Demonstrators push for release of GM/JATCO data center proposals

JANESVILLE — Janesville community members packed the council chambers, hallway and overflow room at City Hall Monday night, collectively voicing to the city council their opposition to a data center being considered for the former GM/JATCO site.

Data center opposition hosts additional public outreach

An opposition group to data centers in Young County invited the public out to properties adjacent to the proposed project in an effort to share their views on the proposal. The opposition group Concerns Citizens of Young County held the event Saturday, Oct. 25 at Mote Farm and Pea Ridge Pecans adjacent to a property that could be a part of a proposed center from Stream Data Centers.
