DULUTH — Darrell Paulson, locally famed and nationally successful as a drummer in the classic rock 'n' roll era, died of natural causes March 25. He was 86. Paulson and his band, the "Rock and Roll 5," were popular in the late 1950s, when the Duluth Armory was the place to be for big rock 'n' roll shows.
