Quito, Aug 12 (EFE).- The Constitutional Court (CC) of Ecuador warned about actions that it considers compromise its institutional security that occurred on Tuesday, when the head of state, Daniel Noboa, was leading a march against the high court, which suspended about twenty articles of three controversial laws proposed by the executive and already approved by the legislature.
The Constitutional Court (CC) has become the ‘epicenter’ of mobilizations and sit-ins convened by social organizations and even by the same executive branch because of the decisions it can pass regarding constitutional claims against three laws passed in the National Assembly and other governmental measures such as the merger of ministries and the dismissal of public officials.
