Damage assessments are underway in Jamaica following Hurricane Melissa, dubbed the storm of the century. The hurricane swept across the island on Tuesday, packing winds approaching 300 km/h (180 mph) and bringing extreme downpours. The exact scale of the damage is not yet known, but satellite images show the enormity of the tragedy that has befallen the Caribbean country.
