Dalton police seek public’s help identifying suspect in wallet theft

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) —  The Dalton Police Department (DPD) is asking the public to help them identify a man who stole someone’s wallet. This incident occurred March 10, 2025 when the victim walked into the Racetrac store on Chattanooga Road at 7:15 p.m. The victim dropped his wallet outside of the front door without realizing it, and continued into the store.
