This is a tradition. On May 1st, individuals have the right to settle on the public road to sell muguet. Most municipalities, however, take municipal orders to avoid drifts.

Picking muguettes on the 1st of May should not be done in any way. Places, sampling, quantity... We asked Mathieu Remacle, a territorial forestry technician at the National Forestry Board (NFB) for best practices.
