Dad who woke from coma an artist builds life-sized General Grievous
Moe Hunter built a 7-foot General Grievous model in a month using wood and clay after awakening from a coma with newfound artistic skills, unique worldwide except George Lucas's 3D version.
- Recently, Moe Hunter completed a life-size handmade replica of General Grievous, which can move and talk after about one month of work at five hours a day.
- After coming out of a month-long coma, Moe Hunter baffled medics with newfound artistic skills and his neurologist told him `Just enjoy it`.
- Starting from a 2D sketch, he used MDF , clay, and redwood pine supplied by his mum, costing around 70 pounds in total, including LED lightsabers and MDF.
- Hunter plans to show the piece at Liverpool Comicon, one of Europe's biggest shows, and the only other known model is believed owned by George Lucas and 3D-printed.
- Facing ongoing neurological issues, Moe says `I'm hoping to have an operation soon` to return to full-time work, despite worsening disabilities.
