Minister of Transport Steffen Bilger recommends approval in Europe. Tesla offers to change the name of the assistance system.
The Government of Germany has pointed out that it advocates "prompt approval" of Tesla's supervised driving system (FSD) across the European Union (EU), although it has pointed out that it is still "necessary" to clarify many technical aspects, as well as questions of responsibility.
Transport Minister Steffen Bilger is committed to a rapid EU-wide approval of Tesla's driving assistance system. In order to address concerns, the car manufacturer offers to rename the function in Europe and limit speed overruns. (Read more)
