After a year of public scrutiny, the Board of Commissioners voted 3-1 Tuesday night to end its contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The decision comes after 8 months of public outcry over immigration detentions and roughly 3 months after the Department of Homeland Security pulled dozens of its prisoners from Cumberland County Jail.
