Crows close in on top-four berth after Swans upset
Adelaide defeated Sydney by 16 points in a wet match at the SCG, winning 13.9 to 10.11 on Friday night.
The scores were tied at 68 each in the fourth quarter until Luke Nankervis scored a key goal for Adelaide to secure the win.
Sydney suffered their first home defeat of the season and their third loss in a row against top-six teams after this upset, dropping their record to 13-5.
Darcy Fogarty scored four goals for Adelaide but caused concern with a high tackle that left Sydney's Harry Cunningham concussed.
