Noida Police has busted a fake call center that used to dupe foreign nationals online. Expressway police station has raided JP Cosmos Society and arrested 12 accused including two women. The accused had duped citizens of several countries including the US of crores of rupees. Police have recovered electronic goods, digital currency and gift vouchers from their possession.
UK and India team up to bust call centre scam
THE National Crime Agency (NCA) has revealed details of a “groundbreaking collaboration” with India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and American teams to bust a fraud call centre scam operating from Noida in north India that targeted British victims.
