(WBTW) -- A Loris area house fire with critical injuries is expected to have lanes of traffic blocked for an extended amount of time on Highway 9 Business, according to Horry County Fire Rescue. Critical Injuries Reported Following Residential Fire

A fire in Horry County resulted in critical injuries in the Loris area. Friday morning, fire rescue crews responded to the area of Highway 9 Business near Papas Bay Road on reports of a house fire. The flames were under control around 7:45am. Lanes of traffic were blocked off while crews worked on the scene. The home sustained heavy damage and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
