Crime statistics 2024 of the police inspection Rostock (photo: archive)The case figures of the total crimes in the Hanseatic city of Rostock fell slightly compared to the previous year – as in the entire state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. In 2024 a total of 17,827 crimes were recorded in the jurisdiction of the police inspection Rostock.This corresponds to a decrease of 5.2 percent compared to the year 2023, in which 18,795 crimes were processed.
