According to the criminal police statistics of the state of Brandenburg for the year 2025, the number of rapes in Brandenburg increased last year by more than four percent compared to the previous year (from 297 to 310). In rapes about 25 percent of the suspects and in sexual harassment about 28 percent of the suspects have no German citizenship.
