CHESTER, Va. Emergency crews were called to a series of small brush fires in Chester on Wednesday evening.Battalion Chief Charles Knowles said crews were first called to the 2500 block of Exhall Court around 7:30 p.m. for a fire. Around 8 p.m., crews started getting calls for fires along Route 1.
