CPJ welcomes Polish prosecutors’ renewed commitment to Ziętara murder case

Berlin, June 9, 2026—The Committee to Protect Journalists welcomes that Polish prosecutors are preparing for a new trial in the 1992 disappearance and presumed murder of investigative journalist Jarosław Ziętara, after a court recently transferred the case to national prosecutors in Krakow for further evidence-gathering.
