- To create roster space, the Cowboys waived running back Emari Demercado, elevating Tyler Goodson as the primary backup behind Javonte Williams in the backfield.
- Conversely, cornerback Joey Porter Jr. will miss his second game with Dallas after being ruled out due to an illness, having played only 45% of defensive snaps last weekend.
- With Porter and Cobie Durant both inactive, the Cowboys' secondary remains depleted, forcing Dallas to rely on Ameer Speed or Shavon Revel against Tampa Bay.
